MANHYIA has spoken, Ashanti will reward the good works of the NPP- Nana B Declares

The National Youth Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party has expressed happiness at the reception and blessings given by the Overlord of the Ashanti, H. R. M Otumfuor Osei Tutu II to H. E Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo.

Writing in commendation of the historic visit, Henry Nana Boakye popularly known as Nana B revealed the President used the visit to announce and introduce the 47 parliamentary candidates of the NPP to the King.

 

 

 

“I was privileged and honoured to join the President’s entourage to Manhyia Palace as part of his tour to the Ashanti region.

The President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo appealed to his Majesty Otumfor for his blessing and support for the 2020 elections as he did in the 2016 elections, the President also used the opportunity to introduce all the 47 Parliamentary candidates of the Region to his Majesty.

 

His Royal Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II on the other hand mentioned Nana Addo has performed very well and that the good works of the President will follow him and the good people of Ashanti will remember these works and even though traditional leaders do not wear political jerseys they will blink an eye to the good people of the region.”

Nana Boakye has assured the youth that the NPP government when given the nod for a second term will continue to pursue a youth oriented outreach in the areas of education and job creation.
